Lot of Heads following me here so thought I’d post: a Jerry Garcia playlist four wonderfully obsessive years in the making. Lots of stripped back acoustic folk/bluegrass rarities and just generally some of my very fondest recordings of my very favorite musician / artist period.

Listen chronologically starting with Jerry’s Palo Alto early 60′s bluegrass days, or give it a shuffle now and again. I promise you’ll find something that moves you, and a whole lot you didn’t expect - whether you’re a GD veteran or layman. Cheers {~);-}

Life may be sweeter for this, I don’t know
Feels like it might be all right
While lady lullaby sings plainly through you, love still rings true
Never could reach it, just slips away… but I try

“California, a prophet on the burning shore… California, I’ll be knocking on the golden door”

One of my favorites to see live. It’s in 7/4 time, it’s hypnotic
